Last week I had the pleasure of participating virtually in the Reboot “Victoria Privacy and Security Conference” on the legislative panel.  The panel featured a push and pull between the legacy of existing law and the need to govern the current information age in a different way.  I was almost expecting the fiddler to jump on the roof and start playing “Tradition.”  Data privacy has its roots in physical privacy and security control concepts.  Yet, today we live in a virtual world that needs to be governed in new ways.  I am reading the soon to be released second draft of the IAF model legislation, and incrementalism in a transformative world is a big concern and therefore is top of mind.  The Thursday chat will be about what is on your mind.  Please join us because I am interested in learning what is concerning you.
