IAF Thursday Chat

Thursday is our IAF Chat. Last week the IAPP met in person in San Diego, and the Global Privacy Assembly met virtually with the hub in Mexico City and next year is slated to meet in Turkey. Resource limitations were a major issue touched on in San Diego as well as Mexico City. Ethics, bias, and AI assessments were all bundled together. Also last week the FTC issued a report finding ISPs to be part of the surveillance ecosystem. Concurrently, FTC Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter delivered public comments about the FTC’s focus and direction at IAPP.
