IAF Announces International Advisory Board

The Information Accountability Foundation is truly international in its focus. As such, it relies heavily on non-U.S. supporters who provide insight and in-kind services that make its international programs so successful. To that end, the IAF has created an International Advisory Board comprised of members of its family that go well beyond just financial support. This new board has members from Latin America, Canada and Europe.  Additional members from all regions will be added over time. This board will supplement the advice received from the corporate board, non-profit and academic scholars and program partners such as Osler, Hoskin &  Harcourt (AccessPrivacy) in Canada, PricewaterhouseCoopers in Europe, Baker & McKenzie S.A.S. in Latin America, Future of Privacy Forum in the United States and NYMITY in various regions.

The initial board members include:

Victoria Anzola, Spain
Ms. Anzola is Executive Director of Seqqe, a compliance consultancy in Spain, Germany and Latin America

Dr. Isabel Davara F. de Marcos, Mexico
Dr. Davara is a partner with Davara Abogados, S.C.

Jacobo Esquenazi, Mexico
Mr. Esquenazi is Global Privacy Strategist at HP Inc.

Della Shea, Canada
Ms. Shea is Vice President, New Product Development & Chief Privacy Officer at Symcor

Pamela Snively, Canada
Ms. Snively is Vice President, Chief Data & Trust Officer at TELUS

The international advisory board will meet quarterly in person and as needed by telephone.  Members also will be consulted on projects that impact their regions.
