Foundation Holds Dialogue on Government Accountability

In conjunction with the University of Indiana and the Center for Democracy & Technology, the Information Accountability Foundation held its second meeting of 2014 about government use of private sector data on the 30th of May. Co-hosted by Professor Fred Cate of the Indiana University Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research, Jim Dempsey of the Center for Democracy & Technology, former Privacy Commissioner of Canada Jennifer Stoddart and Marty Abrams of the Foundation, the event was titled “Enhancing Accountability in Government Access to Private-Sector Data: A Multinational Dialogue”.
