Abrams Presents at OECD Roundtable

On 21 March 2014, Marty Abrams presented the latest Foundation white paper at an OECD roundtable. The paper, entitled “The Origins of Personal Data and its Implications for Governance”, outlined a taxonomy of data origination. In the work, he examined how data created about the individual has moved increasingly away from the individual’s awareness and argues that the trend necessitates more effective information governance. The OECD event “Protecting Privacy in a Data-Driven Economy: Taking Stock of Current Thinking” was an experts roundtable held in Paris.
